Steven Glod
Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Steve is a proven executive with more than 15 years of experience as a startup founder and sales leader. Steve built Machinio, the world’s largest search engine for used industrial equipment. While at Machinio, he scaled the business internationally to $15 million in recurring revenue with more than 4,000 small business customers and executed the sale to a public company.
Prior to Machinio, Steve co-founded Rent Nest, a technology company that allowed users to identify and collaborate on apartment rentals, as well as completed a stint as a derivatives trader immediately after college. Steve’s passion for entrepreneurship started at age twelve when he started a snow removal business before selling it while away at college.
Steve graduated from Indiana University with a major in Chemistry. He currently lives in Florida where he enjoys golfing and spending time with his wife and two children.
Chris Weaver
Co-Founder & Head of Brokerage Services
Chris is a seasoned professional with more than 8 years of experience across M&A advisory and financial leadership roles. Chris began his career at a leading global investment bank where he worked on 25+ M&A transactions resulting in over $12 billion in completed deal value.
After his time in banking, Chris went on to operate a small manufacturing company before leading the successful 8-figure sale to a strategic buyer. He is also the founder of SellSideCFO, a boutique financial advisory firm that provides fractional CFO solutions to small businesses around the country. His passion for small business started at a young age while growing up inside his family’s 4th generation stained glass business.
Chris graduated with honors from DePaul University with a double major in Finance and Economics. He currently lives in Florida where he enjoys golfing, cycling, pickleball, and spending time with family and friends.
